Antivir Update funktioniert nicht!

Ich bekomm schon seit Tagen Antivir nich upgedatet, hat noch jemand das Problem bzw. weiß jemand woran das liegen könnte?

Die nötigen Firewallports sind alle offen!

sind vll. wieder mal die server ausgelastet.

falls du 25 ois übrig hast, dann hol dir kaspersky-av 6 ... hat momentan die höchsten erkennungsraten bei viren/trojanern/würmern/spy- und adware etc bla bla bla ... außerdem gibts da stündliche updates. und 25 oi/jahr sind ja wirklich keine katastrophe.

ich halt nicht viel von programmen die nur funktionieren wenn man jahr für jahr geld reinsteckt, das hatte ich schon mit norton, nee danke!

Neuinstallation hats nicht gebracht, Registryoptimierung hat keine Fehler entfernt, SpyBot konnte keine Fehler finden, Ad-Aware war genauso ratlos.

Update geht immernoch nicht.
Vllt. findet sich auf der Hauptseite die neueste Virendefinition...

Nachtrag:
Ich nehm alles zurück: 4 min nachdem ich den Befehl zum Update gegeben habe, hat er auch endlich eine Verbindung zum Server gefunden.
Ist zwar ungewöhnlich lange (normalerweise kommt eine Verbindung sofort zustande) aber was solls.

Nicht direkt. Nur nervt mich AntiVir seit einigen Tagen jedesmal beim Rechner hochfahren mit einer Install-Abfrage eines 'Rootkits' - lässt sich auch nirgendwo abstellen. Zudem bekam ich letztens dauernd Trojaner-Alarm für mein FTP-Programm. Nachdem ich mich daraufhin mal im Netz umgeschaut hatte, stellte ich fest, dass dies auch anderen Leuten rund um den Erdball so ging. Auch Norton zickt da seit neuestem irgendwie rum, liest man. Zum Glück konnte ich aber meinem AntiVir beibringen, dass er in Zukunft mein armes FTP-Programm in Ruhe lassen soll.

Ja, hab das nun auch gemerkt.
Es ging dann doch noch los. Komischerweise war es die gleiche Aktualisierung, die ich heute morgen vorgenommen hatte. Dachte ich jedenfalls.

Hab nun auch so ein schönen Root-Kit INstallationshinweis. Bringt das was? Also das Root-Kit? Oder ist es eher nur ein unnützes Programm?

Ja, ne. schon klar. Den Wikiartikel hatte ich auch schon gefunden.
Aber wie sinnvoll ist sowas?
Ist denn die Gefahr so groß, dass man unbedingt eine solche Root-Kit Erweiterung braucht? Und wenn dem so sein sollte, warum bekomme ich diese - dann ja wohl sicherheitsrelevante - Erweiterung erst jetzt angeboten zum installieren?

weil diese rootkit-erweiterung eben erst jetzt veröffentlicht wurde.

root-kits verbergen schadsoftware vor dem system, sodass man sie nicht so einfach findet. lies dir einfach den pcwelt.de-artikel durch.
