mastodon - crack the skye
ganz großes ding. ein weiterer schritt weg von chaotischem sludge hin zu progressive rock in der tradition von king crimson. klar mein album des jahres, was hier an kreativität abgeliefert wurde, ist einfach unglaublich.

isis - the wavering radiant
was soll man zu isis schon noch groß schreiben? massive soundwände, geniale einsprengsel, soundspielereien und unvergleichliche atmosphäre.

sehr gute alben waren bestimmt auch die neuen von porcupine tree, between the buried and me, russian circles und nile, aber irgendwie hab' ich mich heuer mehr auf ältere sachen und lücken schließen konzentriert...

myka 9 - 1969

hat den winter um einiges sonniger gemacht. myka ist 'n verdammtes genie und klingt dabei, als würde er's lässig aus'm ärmel schütteln. die beats von factor liefern dabei die richtige menge soul und rhythmische abwechslung.. der shit, ernsthaft.
